Possible meeting between defensive end Mario Williams and The New York Giants.

Free-agent defensive end Mario Williams left Miami without bringing his talents to South Beach, or at least not so far.

Williams, 31, is looking for a new home after he was released by the Buffalo Bills, both the Miami Dolphins & the New York Giants are in play according to NJ.com

Former Buffalo Bills defensive end Mario Williams is likely to be next. The Giants are among four or five teams that Williams is likely to visit, a person with knowledge of the situation

Williams was released by the Bills earlier in the week. The four-time Pro Bowl defensive end visited with the Miami Dolphins on Saturday. It appears no deal was struck.

Coming off an un-inspiring year Williams looks to re-establish his image and return to the elite class of defensive ends he once was.

Williams, 31, is coming off a rough season where he managed 5.0 sacks, his worst output without a significant injury since his rookie year. Questions have also emerged about his effort this past season when he was miscast in coach Rex Ryan’s defense.

Williams could be a fit for the G-Men as they are in need of pass rushers. In their search the Giants will bring also bring in Charles Johnson and continue to negotiate with Jason Peirre-Paul & Robert Ayers.
