With the 2016 NFL Draft less than one month away the New York Giants sent out their draft Day Party invitations last week to season-ticket holders. 

If you are a season ticket holder check your inbox for more information. This is a free family friendly event held by the Giants, aim to get there early because Big Blue picks 9th.

The Draft Day Party again will be held at MetLife stadium on April 28, 2016 at 7 o’clock. For more info go to Giants.com

The New York Giants sent out their 2016-2017 season ticket invoices yesterday. The good news is that the prices will remain the same. This would be the second year with current prices after the adjustment to ticket prices last year.

We are looking forward to the 2016 season, the first for head coach Ben McAdoo. He has assembled a quality coaching staff, and our players are eager to get to work when the offseason program commences on April 11.

Our 2016 regular season home schedule features our NFC East rivals Dallas, Philadelphia and Washington, as well as Chicago, Detroit, New Orleans, Baltimore and Cincinnati. The dates and times of our preseason and regular season games will be announced mid- to late-April.
Your 2016 season ticket invoice is now available online. As you have elected to NOT receive a paper invoice, this will be your only notice.
You will notice that the pricing for your 2016 season tickets remains the same as last season. We continue to believe our season ticket pricing offers you the greatest value for your overall season ticket package.
Parking will remain at $30 per game and can only be purchased on a season basis.

This past Friday the 2015 New York Giants Playoff Invoice was sent out to Giants season ticket holders. Amazingly the Giants are still in the hunt for a playoff spot. The easist road to the playoffs is winning the NFC East.

2015 NFC Playoff Ticket Information 

Since the National Football Conference (NFC) playoff alignment may remain unclear for several more weeks, the following playoff information is being sent to all season ticket holders.  If the Giants gain home field advantage for the first round of the playoffs, we could host a Wild Card playoff game on January 9th or 10th.  If we host the NFC Championship game, it would be played on Sunday, January 24th.

Here’s how to exercise your ticket option – please note the deadline of December 22, 2015: 

The Giants have 4 games remaining versus Miami, Carolina, Minnesota  & Philadelphia. Hopefully we can get a run going, and some key losses for a playoff birth.

Below is updated postseason ticket invoice policy that was emailed out to season ticket holders on Friday. More information could be found on Giants.com

All 32 NFL teams are now required by new NFL policies to offer their Season Ticket Holders the opportunity, prior to the first regular season game, to reserve tickets for any postseason game they may host in that season.

As a PSL and Season Ticket Holder, your seats for the playoffs are already reserved through your PSL Agreement. As part of these new policies, we will offer PSL Holders preferred pricing. For any home Wild Card playoff game, PSL Holders will be charged no more for each of their seats than the average ticket price of that seat for the 2015 season.

At this time, there is nothing you need to do to opt-in to receive the exclusive Wild Card playoff game pricing. As in prior years, we will send more playoff information as the season progresses, including final pricing for any potential Wild Card, Divisional and/or Championship Game. The Giants will offer PSL Holders the same payment options as in prior years. This includes the Pay-When-We’re-In option where Season Ticket Holders enroll their credit card for payment but are not charged until within 24-48 hours of when it is determined that the Giants will host a home playoff game.

Well sort of. On Tuesday the New York Giants sent out invoices for the 2015 season to all season ticket holders. Included in this email was an alert that preseason ticket would be cut by 50% as part of a new program aimed to reduce the overall cost of season package slightly for almost all fans.

You will notice some significant changes to your 2015 season ticket invoice regarding the pricing of your tickets. These are the first adjustments to your pricing since MetLife Stadium’s inaugural season of 2010. We have reduced the cost of our preseason tickets by approximately 50 percent. In addition, we have established new pricing for our regular season games. The net result of the changes in pricing for most season ticket holders is an overall reduction from the previous season.

We believe the modifications we have made in our season ticket pricing offers you the greatest value for the overall season ticket package.

Parking will remain at $30 per game and can only be purchased on a season basis.

However the new cost of regular-season tickets for the eight home games will increase $10-$20 for “non-club” tickets, depending on location, and by $15-$25 for “club” game tickets, also depending on location.

The ticket adjustments are the first adjustments since MetLife Stadium’s inaugural season in 2010. I am going to call a small victory for the blog, back in 2012 I asked why are we paying full price for pre-season games. (it was my 1st blog post)

Overall, It was fine I was able to sell the tickets I had on NFL ticket exchange with no problems. In conversation, I asked another football fan which site does he like to sell his tickets Stubhub or NFL Ticket Exchange. He said neither, he bought a total of 2 NY Jets PSLs for $20,000. which hold a ticket price $150 each. He can’t sell a preseason or regular season game. To think that last month I bitched about the preseason games. Maybe I shouldn’t bitch and just be happy I’m a Giants fan. A happy Giants fan.

Its that time of the year where as a giants season ticket holder, I am cursing asking why the hell do I pay full value ticket for a preseason game. The general the cost of going to a NFL game is now bordering on outrageous.

Drunk off a Super Bowl victory, Big Blue alerted the press that they will not be raising any ticket prices for this season but prices still remain as the highest ticket price in the NFL.

During last seasons lockout the hot button issue was to change the schedule by adding two regular season games by removing preseason games. The addition of the regular season games would have given an added value. It is increasingly difficult to even give away preseason
Manning for 7 snaps?

Attendance in the NFL is slipping in contrast to TV ratings. Popularity of the games are at an all time high. According to the NFL office there is an increased focus on the in-stadium experience by providing wifi and fan friendly accessibility.

I guess as a New Yorker we are use to paying for a premium. Our cross town rivals Jets recently lowered their ticket prices. For once let’s do something that the Jets do.
