One of Webster’s most iconic plays happened during the coldest game in Giants’ history. The NFC Championship Game against Green Bay at Lambeau Field reached a wind chill of minus 23 degrees. In overtime, with the game tied 20-20, Webster intercepted Brett Favre’s pass intended for Donald Driver. This pivotal play set up Lawrence Tynes’ game-winning 47-yard field goal. The Giants went on to win the game 23-20 and eventually claimed victory in Super Bowl XLII.

Webster’s Impressive Career Stats.

Webster was more than just one great play. A second-round pick from LSU in 2005, he quickly became a vital part of the Giants’ defense. Over his career, Webster started 93 of 121 regular-season games and all 10 of his postseason outings. He was a key player in both Super Bowl XLII and XLVI victories. Webster’s 97 passes defensed is a franchise record, and his 20 career interceptions rank 10th in Giants history. He remains one of just six Giants to record multiple interceptions in a single postseason.
