As the season has ended, the New York Giants will now enter the offseason where they will have to make important decisions on their roster. As reported by Spotrac, the team has 18 players whose contracts will expire and they will become unrestricted free agents, meaning they are free to sign with any team.

This will require the front office to evaluate their performance and decide whether to re-sign or let them move on.

Giants GM Joe Schoen and the front office team will have to confront hard choices this offseason, which may not be well-received by supporters, particularly concerning the future of Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley with the team. Negotiations for contracts with both Jones and Barkley are ongoing, but no agreements have been reached yet.

Schoen stated his goal is to build long-term success by constructing a roster with a wealth of talent, while also retaining financial freedom to make adjustments as necessary.
