Giants center Weston Richburg says his comments about teammates not joining him at former NFL lineman LeCharles Bentley’s Arizona-based “O-Line Performance Certer” were taken out of context.

“Well, those things were taken out of context,” he said at the first day of the club’s OTAs. “Speaking on what I believe about the place I train, I think it is a great spot. I wish everybody could be out there because we do some really great stuff. Like I said, I will be out there every off-season until I am done playing.”

I don’t see any foul in trying to get the O-line together in the off-season. Richberg is just motivating teammates to work harder and foster unity.

In a candid moment talking to the press last week, Giants center Weston Richburg created some questionable headlines. 

“I know a lot of guys are just happy to be there. That’s the difference between them and the guys who are here.” 

Don’t read too much into this, sounds like a motivational tool to help toughen up the Giants O-Line.
