The Giants have claimed CB Mario Goodrich off waivers from the Eagles.

Background on Mario Goodrich

Goodrich was undrafted out of Clemson in 2022 and spent the past two seasons with the Eagles, mostly on the practice squad.

He showed potential during his time in college, contributing to Clemson’s strong secondary. However, his transition to the NFL has been challenging, with limited opportunities to showcase his skills on the field.

Now, as a member of the Giants, Goodrich has a chance to compete for a spot on the active roster and prove his worth in the team’s secondary.

His addition adds depth to the Giants’ cornerback group and brings competition to the position.
