The New York Giants added some young talent to the Linebacker core by selecting Clemson stud B.J. Goodson with the 109th pick in the 5th round.

Goodson spoke post draft and was excited to play in a place where football was very important.

“Definitely wanted to be (here). Definitely a legendary place; a place where football is very, very important,” Goodson said after being drafted. “They talk about the New York Football Giants, man, and finding out how much that means to the city and the community…it’s really, really big.

“They saw me helping out on special teams. The (Tom Quinn) really likes me a lot. I really, really enjoyed the relationship with (Bill McGovern). I really, really just fell in love with everything on my visit.”

Let’s welcome B.J. to Big Blue Nation!
