Giants Sign Offensive Tackle Byron Stingily

The Giants continue to add pieces late in this off-season. Yesterday they announced the signing of offensive tackle Byron Stingily on Giants.com.

Stingily, 6-5 and 318 pounds, played 20 games with nine starts for the Tennessee Titans from 2012-14. Last season, he was waived at the end of training camp. Stingily was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers on Oct. 19, but did not play in a game.

Stingily was Tennessee’s sixth-round draft choice from Louisville in 2011. As a rookie, he was inactive for 15 games and dressed but did not play in another game. Stingily played in six games with two starts in both 2012 and 2013, and in 10 games with five starts in 2014.

Stingily will be thrown right into the mix as they are trying to figure out their offense of line combination.

Let’s all welcome Byron to Big Blue!
