The New York Giants are playing it safe when it comes to injuries this year. Giants a running back Orleans Darkwa will be held out for nearly a month to help heal a small fracture in his tibia according to NJ.com

Orleans Darkwa was at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center on Tuesday but not on the field practicing with teammates. The Giants are playing it safe with the running back. He has a small fracture in his tibia, according to an individual with knowledge of the situation.

Darkwa, 24, is expected to be held out of action for around a month. The injury is considered minor and he could play if necessary.

This is more of a tale of the Giants being very cautious, Darkwa showed much improvement later on in the year and is anticipated to be a big part of the running game going forward.
