Victor Cruz Waits For Clearance
Victor Cruz will wait till Monday to assess how well the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection has helped in speeding up his ailing calf.
Cruz who has suffered a few setback is eager to get back on the practice field with full participation.
“Obviously, there is some optimism because of how far I’ve come to date and the obstacles that I’ve been able to hurdle and get over up until now. So there’s definitely some optimism there, but obviously not just there yet. So we’ve got to take it one day at a time.”
No estimated time-table has been given, although Cruz has been ruled out for Sunday’s game versus the San Francisco 49ers. One long shot goal is for Cruz to return against the Philadelphia Eagles in week 6. Cruz offered some optimism.
“It would be a good one to come back for, to say the least, Every game is in my sights, to be honest,” he said. “Every week, I’m trying to gauge it and see how it feels and kind of take steps and wake up in the morning and do the old calf raise test in bed and stuff like that. We’ll see how it goes.”
We are all hoping to see Cruz, Beckham, and Randle suit up at the same time this year!
