Lorenzo Carter’s continued progress.

Carter continues to progress nicely since he ruptured his achilles on the fifth game last season, gaining praise from Giants defensive coordinator Patrick Graham.

I’m not going to get emotional or anything, but I’m very proud of his progress, to be honest with you.”

“You see a guy who carries the stress of ‘potential-this, potential-that’ all the time. He’s having a good season last year and then he gets hurt. He works his way through and, to me, he looks like a different football player than anything I saw in his previous three years.

Carter flashed prior to his injury, and Giants fans saw the potential. While the Giants defense is solid, there is an opportunity for him to find a role in this pass rush.
