The Giants possibly worried over the performance of backup Ryan Nassib during the preseason added vet QB Josh Johnson. Linebacker Jasper Brinkley was released to accommodate this move.

Johnson 6-3 and 215 pound, has made his NFL rounds landing in Tampa Bay, San Francisco, Cleveland, Cincinnati , the Jets, Indianapolis, Buffalo and Baltimore, which released him on Saturday.
