Seriously, it was a great win. But inducting Jones into the HOF needs to be curbed. He lost 2 fumbles. If those were INT’s, his box score would not look good. A turnover is a turnover, right? We lost possession on both. If not for the incompetence of TB’s FG kicker, we’d be 0-3. Jones did good. But I still can’t stand Gettleman or Shurmer. NYG football is built on DEFENSE. Neither of DG or PS has the talent to put together a decent defense. To me, they get no free passes because TB missed a friggin field goal. They are being touted as “genius” and Jones is Johnny Unitas. It’s great that the kid brought a different look to the team. It’s great the NYG left Tampa with a win. But curb the enthusiasm and stop acting as if we’re going to the Super Bowl. We will finish with a losing record and a top 10 draft pick. Hopefully, someone will then focus on a defense that hasn’t been addressed properly in a long time.
