The Giants today announced they have re-signed long-snapper Zak DeOssie.
A fourth-round draft choice in 2007, DeOssie played in 149 consecutive regular-season and postseason games in nine seasons before he was placed on injured reserve last Dec. 8 with a wrist injury. He later underwent surgery.
DeOssie and Eli Manning are the only two remaining players from both the Super Bowl XLII and XLVI championship teams. He is the second-longest tenured Giants player, behind Manning. DeOssie was a Pro Bowler in 2008 and 2010.
