New York Giants WR Victor Cruz Resumes Running.

A big stride to the return of Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz started this past week when he resumed running. Cruz, who has been battling injuries the past two years is eager to get on the field.

It is believed that Cruz will remain with the Giants possibly with the restructured contract.  In his bleacher report video he states he is eager to get back on the field with his teammates and Odell Beckham Jr.

“I’ve been making a lot of progress,” Cruz says in the video. “The calf is feeling really, really good. I’m excited about the progress”

“I really feel like it’s paying dividends. The strength in my calf is starting to come back,” he said. “Everything’s starting to come around. I’m excited to go out there with my teammates again. I’m excited to see Odell and those guys, I’m excited to play again. But I know I have a long journey ahead of me. I have some significant gains to make in terms of where I’m at with my calf, and things like that. I’m excited.”

We all await with anxiety for him to come back to the field, and return to the player he once was.
