Olivier Vernon to the Giants!
It took a great deal for this move to actually happen. First the Miami Dolphins rescinded their transitional franchise tag, which allowed Olivier Vernon to become a free agent and be available on the open market. Ian Rapoport is tweeting its a done deal.
For Olivier Vernon and the #Giants, I’m told it’s the biggest defensive end deal in history with the most guaranteed money

Rumors were circulating last week that the Giants will likely still try to offer Vernon a deal even with the transitional tag.
This is Jerry Reese’s second big move this off-season (third if you count JPP). All his maneuvering shows his focus on gearing up the defensive side of the ball.
Welcome to the Gmen Olivier, let’s bring back the big blue wrecking crew.
