Theo Johnson Nearing Return to Giants Training Camp

New York Giants Rookie TE Theo Johnson Expected to Come Off PUP List shortly.

Giants rookie TE Theo Johnson is close to making his training camp debut and returning from the PUP list, according to Art Stapleton.

“Theo Johnson appears to be close to coming off PUP + getting his first action of camp. Dealing with hip flexor, the 4th round pick from Penn State was moving well on a side field with training staff. Did not appear limited. So Sunday’s a possibility.”

Johnson has shown great potential during offseason workouts. His return will add depth to the tight end position and provide more options for the offense as the team gears up for the upcoming season.
