Experience in Ben Mcadoos Offensive System[tps_title]Experience in Ben McAdoo’s Offensive System[/tps_title]

Coming into the season, the Giants replaced longtime offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride with a fresh, young mind in Ben McAdoo. As this was the first time in Eli Manning’s career he had to learn a new offense, it was expected that it would take time to master. McAdoo’s offensive scheme thrives on fast-paced quick-hitting routes that give receivers opportunity for yards after the catch. As anticipated, the offense has taken time to find its stride and has not even scraped its full potential yet. In all likelihood Tom Coughlin will in fact return for his 11th season as Giants’ head coach despite rumors of his impending termination, according to recent reports. With him returning along with Ben McAdoo, the offense should continue to improve. As Eli Manning continues learn the nuances and intricacies, a full season of running this offense under his belt with training camp and preseason should further improve the numbers offensively from this season’s mediocre offensive output.
