New York Giants Draft TE Jerell Adams.

With their final pick in the 2016 NFL draft The New York Giants selected tight end Jerrell Adams from South Carolina in the sixth round, 184th overall.

Adams, 6-foot-5, 252-pound blocking machine may be one of the most underrated players in this year’s draft according to ESPN’s Todd McShay.

“From a physical tools standpoint, there’s a lot to like with Jerell Adams,” McShay said during ESPN’s broadcast. “I actually thought he was one of the top five most underrated players in this class, big play threat with length. He can be your slot receiver. He’s not very strong and big yet but I love his effort. The guy works hard as a blocker. Under-utilized in the passing game but averaged over 14 yards per catch. This guy has big play ability, and I think it’s going to be interesting to see if he can become a big cog in that offense for the Giants.”

Welocme to Giants Nation Jerrell!
