Evan Engram Could Miss The Season Opener, possibly placed on the IR.

New York Giants tight end Evan Engram could could possibly miss the season opener with a calf injury.

The Athletic’s Dan Duggan stated that the Giants front office and medical staff will evaluate Engram and decide whether to place him on IR.

According to the New York Post.

Engram saw a doctor Monday to determine the severity of his calf injury and his status for the Sept. 12 season-opener is firmly in doubt.

As per Joe Judge.

“It leaves a little bit of a different window than it normally would be in the preseason track as far as getting ready for the opener,” coach Joe Judge said, “so we’ll have to see where he’s at in terms of how we manage him.”

I love him, or hate him Engram is a weapon in the Giants arsenal, Missing any time could hurt because the Giants are now thin at Tight End.
