Giants plan to work out former Pro Bowl safety.

The search for safety help continues as the New York Giants plan to work out former pro bowler and 10 year vet Donte Whitner according to Ian Rapport.

Battling injuries at safety, playing WRs there in practice, the #Giants are working out ex-Pro Bowler Donte Whitner on Sunday, source said.

With both Daren Thompson and Nat Berhe unlikely to play on Monday night the Giants are missing bodies to game plan and practice. It seems unlikely that Whitner would play on Monday if a deal is reached.
