Disappointment in Schoen and Daboll’s Evasive Responses

by Marco Ceo

A Press Conference Full of Frustration

The Schoen/Daboll press conference was a struggle to endure. The Giants Beat Writers posed reasonable questions, focusing on roster concerns like Evan Neal’s status and the cornerback situation—topics that are on every fan’s mind. Yet, the responses from Schoen and Daboll were, to say the least, disappointing.

Defensive and Evasive Answers

Instead of providing clear answers, Schoen and Daboll seemed almost offended by the questions. Their responses came across as evasive, with a defensive tone that felt out of place. It was as if they were expecting these questions and decided to meet them with thinly veiled hostility.

This kind of reaction is disappointing, especially for fans who look to these press conferences for insight and clarity. It’s not too much to ask for some straightforwardness, but instead, we were met with a wall of defensiveness.

It’s hard not to feel frustrated. The questions were pertinent, the concerns legitimate. Yet, Schoen and Daboll chose to deflect rather than engage. This isn’t the kind of transparency we expect from our team’s leadership.
