This edition of Hard Knocks will bring something a little different. While this new version of Hard Knocks will cover the offseason process, the traditional style of the show that follows teams during training camp into the regular season is still expected to air later this summer, featuring a different team.

Co-owner John Mara has long insisted that his storied franchise would never take part of Hard Knocks there seems to be a different direction now. “When I’m next to my father in Gates of Heaven Cemetery,” Mara told the New York Daily News when asked when the Giants would allow HBO’s cameras into their facility.
