Giants Fall to the Eagles 22-16

The New York Giants Fall to the Eagles 22-16 to end the season.

The New York Giants, who were fielding a team mostly composed of reserve players, were defeated by the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday with a final score of 22-16. The Giants, with a record of 9-7-1, the No. 6 seed in the NFC playoffs, will now proceed to the playoffs where they will go up against the third-seeded Minnesota Vikings.

With the decision to sit Daniel Jones, the Giants gave the start to Davis Webb earning is first NFL start.

Despite the Giants’ 22-16 defeat, Webb was able to achieve a few milestones in the game, including 2 touchdowns, one running and one passing. He ended the game with 209 total yards, with no turnovers. Webb expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and the support of his coaches and teammates during the game, in his post-game interview with the reporters. “Very thankful for that opportunity,” adding “I’m thankful for my coaches and teammates who supported me all week.”

The Eagles’ 22-16 win over the Giants on Sunday secured them the No.1 seed in the playoff and 1st round bye.
