The New York Giants sign WR Parris Campbell on a one-year deal that can be worth $6.7 million.
Campbell signed a one-year deal with the New York Giants, potentially worth $6.7 million, including $3 million fully guaranteed. New York is aiming to strengthen the wide receiver position for newly re-signed quarterback Daniel Jones, released free agent disappointment Kenny Golladay on Wednesday.
Campbell entered free agency following the first full season of his career. In 2022, he played in all 17 games for the Indianapolis Colts, having never played more than seven games in a season before.
Campbell, 25, eager to prove himself when healthy after a career plagued by injuries, faced challenges due to the Colts’ quarterback issues. Despite Indianapolis starting three quarterbacks in the 2022 season, he set career highs with 63 catches for 623 yards.
