The New York Giants have agreed to terms with 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson. At 36 years old, Wilson brings leadership, experience, and championship pedigree to the Big Blue offense.
Over his 13-year NFL career, Wilson has started 199 regular-season games for the Seahawks, Broncos, and most recently, the Steelers. He holds a 121-77-1 record in the regular season and is 9-8 in the playoffs. That includes two Super Bowl appearances—and a dominant 43-8 win in Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium.
Elite Career Numbers Speak for Themselves.
Wilson’s career passer rating of 99.8 ranks fifth in NFL history (minimum 1,500 attempts). He’s thrown 350 touchdown passes since entering the league in 2012, second-most during that span. Even more impressive? Wilson has posted a passer rating of 100.0 or higher in 101 regular-season games—more than any quarterback in that timeframe.
On the ground, Wilson is just as dangerous. He’s rushed for 5,462 yards and 31 touchdowns, making him the only quarterback in league history with over 40,000 passing yards and 5,000 rushing yards.
Resilient Comeback in 2024.
In 2024, Wilson missed the first six games due to injury but bounced back to start 12 straight games for the Pittsburgh Steelers, including a Wild Card Round appearance. It was yet another double-digit win season for a quarterback who has now done it nine times in his career.
