Giants Likely to Re-Engage with Van Roten This Week

Van Roten had a free agent visit with the Giants last week and had played under Carmen Bricillo in Las Vegas. Last season, he started all 17 games, only allowing 21 pressures.

Art Stapleton noted he “would be surprised” if the Giants don’t reconnect with free agent OL Greg Van Roten later this week.

Reuniting with Van Roten could provide the Giants with much-needed depth and experience on the offensive line. Given his familiarity with Coach Bricillo’s system and his solid performance last season, Van Roten’s return would be a strategic move to bolster the team’s protection and stability up front.
