New York Giants Desperation Mode
What type of desperation mode should the Giants be in? Starting 0-3 for the first time in Coughlin’s NY coaching career, which means most of these players have never been in a hole like this… Except Myers, he was on the Raiders.
Kansas City, with Alex Smith and the Walrus at the helm, have started 3-0 for the first time in who knows how many years. In the preseason, when the schedules were released, I’m sure Giants fans were happy to mark this one down as a W and to put Andy Reid into place. It’s not looking so hot right now.
The only thing I can say about the Giants is that the have to fire their O Line and D Line coaches. It is absolutely miserable to watch the big men play in blue. Zero pressure in opposing QB’s, fewer sacks by our whole team then some individual players have. Eli is munching dirt the entire game. It’s disgusting. If the big men don’t show up, the games will continue to get ugly early and often. And Eli, holy hell he looks awful, when you have more picks than td’s you know it’s a bad season.
Let’s hope the Giants can put a stop to this madness, give KC their first L and get Big Blue’s first W. Otherwise it might just be downhill from here.
